Joey Figure (3on3 Freestyle)

This was a small project we did, making a game character to an actual figure.
2 people did the whole process, starting from modeling, printing, polishing, coloring, post-processing and so on.

I modified the original modeling to make it 3d printable. (Original highpoly model of Joey was also done by me )

We used FDM printer for testing, and the final large parts were also printed in FDM printer Zortrax m200. Parts which demanded more details were SLA(Stereolithography) printed.

We spent a lot of time sanding and post-processing, and finally when we were finished, it was sent for molding and casting. The quality of the casting was disappointing (many bubbles) , it was a never ending story of sanding and polishing for the perfect surface.

Coloring was all done by Sangho Oh.

We also had to prepare for 2017 Tokyo Game Show booth, our team UI designer MuKyung So helped us for the package design.

It was a fun project!
